Elijah Kahara

Assistant General Manager

A journey of many miles begins with one step.

My name is Elijah Kahara. I am a native of Kenya, born in Nairobi, who has called The United States of America home for almost 20 years, with most of those years living in the great Lone Star State. I am privileged to serve the residents, guests, and staff of Four-Leaf Towers in my capacity as Assistant General Manager-Service, bringing almost two decades of experience in hospitality.

The greatest influence during my upbringing was my mum, who taught me to always do the right thing, all the time, especially when no one was watching. She taught me to be strong in my faith in God and to always have a heart for the less fortunate. The consummate hostess, mum made it her life’s work to help others and inspired us to do the same. Her encouragement led me to the wonderful world of hospitality.

My journey in hospitality has accorded me the privilege of working in world-class institutions such as Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club as Director of Residential Services, where I was tasked with creating a residential services program that was built on anticipating every resident's needs, curating it to fit individual and communal needs. As a result of a very successful program at Driftwood, I assisted in creating a global residential services program for the parent company Discovery Land, a program that is now used in the properties all over the world. Before relocating to Texas, we lived in Santa Fe, NM where I had the privilege to lead Front Office teams at Encantado, an Auberge Resort and at Rosewood’s Inn of The Anasazi.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, whether it be catching a soccer match, traveling, enjoying great food, great music or enjoying the arts. A good work out always makes my day. My passion for serving goes beyond the work environment, serving the community through ministry and mission work. In rural Kenya, we assist in providing food and shelter for a children’s orphanage, Wings of A Dove. As a family blessed with several members in the medical field, we have conducted medical mission camps in Kenya, serving over 2,000 people. It is in giving back that I find the greatest joy.

My wife Cynthia and I have been married since 2008 and are blessed with one son, Nathan. He will be ten years old in October 2026 and is the greatest blessing we could ever ask for. He is quite the character, hilarious, kind and one who brings joy to those he meets.

Maya Angelou taught us that people will forget what you said or did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. In my life’s journey, I strive to excel in customer service, in creating lasting memories, and in building lasting relationships. My goal at Four-Leaf Towers is to improve the service culture, standards, and experience for all our residents, guests and staff. I promise to do everything I can to solve challenges by listening, understanding, anticipating and coming up with creative solutions to meet those challenges.

I am excited to be a part of the Four-Leaf Towers family for many years to come and cannot be more thankful to serve this vibrant community.
